The story of a photographer

I grew up in one of the top tourist destinations of the world, Cape Town, and though I have been living in Sheffield for over 20 years, Cape Town will always have a very special place in my heart. I still pine for the rugged mountains, wild seas and the warmth of the African sun. However, England has its own beauty and the Peak District offers such a stunning backdrop for a lot of my work. And don't even get me started on the Autumn and Winter light...!

I love watching period dramas, rewatching Friends and Sing (because it's my eldest's favourite movie). I am a voracious reader when I have the time and I have a long list of things I really want to do but then never get round to doing (examples include bread making, knitting, furniture upcycling and many more).

I’m married with two beautiful little girls who have been the primary focus of my camera since they were born! Even before they came along, family and storytelling were rooted in what I do. My paternal grandfather was an amateur photographer and my maternal grandmother was a writer and I feel that I carry their legacies with me.

It is my passion to preserve memories, tell people's stories, capture the love, the laughter, the fun in couples and familes.
